We've been there twice now, only it was the same case each time. In the beginning the service was fixed and after you had your first drinks and food, you were no longer noticed. In addition, the food is really not good! It ranges from tasteless noodles, dry salmon to watery soups. When we complained about this and didn't finish the food because it really simply didn't taste good, it wasn't handled professionally. No replacement or anything else was offered. In addition, the offer there is very overpriced.

Yes, you can go out to eat here and you will be full too. The food is not the big wow factor now .. Price-performance ratio is satisfactory because you pay more for the port area than for the food. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food comes to the table quickly.

As a woman traveling alone you will not be served here. Even if there is hardly anything going on in the morning. Waiter just said unfriendly in passing I should put on my mask, even though I was already seated. Walk past me 3 times and don't ask for my wishes. Even if I am traveling with a large group, I will definitely not come here.

Friendly staff & good location for sitting outside. The food is tasty. Prices are quite high though.

My girlfriend and I visited Konstanz from Thursday to Friday. Went there for a coffee right after arriving. The really very hospitable staff and the location caught our eye. Then we decided to go to this restaurant for dinner, which we haven't regretted. I ate the rump steak and my girlfriend the Thai curry. We were both very enthusiastic about the really great food. I have already visited many such places and have never been able to give all five stars, but I have no other choice. Respect, keep it up! And many thanks to the whole team!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't really hot, the leg of lamb was very tender, but it didn't have a nice color, probably not heated in the sauce, and no shine. The sauce itself left a lot to be desired. The rosemary potatoes must have been prepared a day or two beforehand and then warmed up without butter (probably in the combi oven or micro). One could clearly see the color and the sagging skin and structure. I will probably not go back there.

I work in gastro myself and I have never tipped before in my entire life, not even in 35 years! The drinks were wonderful, came quickly and it's very pleasant to sit here. The prices are a little higher for the excellent location and the selection is very good. we were there yesterday, later on Saturday evening, and it was already a little less busy. Still, i can hardly believe how much i am reluctant to go there again or to recommend a friend or guest of our hotel to visit it locally. The young man who is responsible for organizing the tables, distributing cards and collecting cash treated us really as hostile as I've never seen it before. i don't mean that we had a complaint or asked about crazy things and are now dissatisfied or anything! He gave me an angry look when I greeted him, he simply ignored guests or rolled his eyes, shaking his head when they spoke to him and then sent a waiter to answer the guests' questions (that wasn't just at our table). the tone of the cash register was really the icing on the cake ... if he were simply unfriendly, then that's his business, maybe you wonder if he has the wrong job, but that was just hostile and angry. sorry, but we are definitely not going to the harbor master's office anymore.

I was there today with my family and we were very, but very disappointed. The staff was just terrible and unfriendly. We also got dirty glasses and a salad with Harre. When we said to them, they were very arrogant and they didn't even say sorry. Price / performance ratio is not right at all!

Nice restaurant right on the harbor. The location is of course added to the prices. But the quality and taste are very good. Friendly service. One star deduction because of the prices, otherwise everything is right. Well worth a visit.

Delicious pizzas and stakes, kind personel

Very nice place, a bit expensive, food nothing special. But a nice place to sit by sunset or evening.

A very arrogant waiter who prefers to wear his mask under his chin and wants to determine his tip himself. When I pointed out that we were still getting change, he reluctantly tossed the money on our table. Apparently, almost 6% tip for two drinks his colleagues brought us was too little.

So, extremely expensive !!! That's how it works! Soger toilet costs 50 cents! More than 200 euros bill and not even got grapa. Allegedly boss does not approve (geitzig: D) I wish all the best anyway.

Rude staff, high prices. You wait for ages for your food and don't even try to communicate in English as you will be ignored. Not tourist orientated at all. Do yourself a favour and visit the restaurant across the road. Would give zero stars if I could.

Very rude waiter, we asked for an English menu and he was offending us because we did not speak any German. We left immediately.

Unfortunately, we realized that we invested more in the view than in the quality of the food. The food wasn't really edible. It seemed to us as if the schnitzel had landed in the pan ready from the bag.

The location of this restaurant right next to the harbor is excellent. The service is very fast and you get your drinks in no time. Prices are a bit higher than usual.

Wearing masks correctly does not work for the staff ... you have to pay 50 cents for the toilet as a guest, but you get a voucher. Drinks came quickly. Cake from the Fuchshof was great, but schnitzel was rather lower class

The staff is friendly. I can only partially confirm the somewhat careless wearing of the respirators, although I can understand that given the temperatures. I had a soup that tasted very good. The bread served with it, however, was nothing special. In the main course I had whole grain noodles, they were well below expectations. The pizzas are big, but still can hardly do justice to the high price. As a guest you have to pay 50 cents for the toilet. I found that a bit inappropriate.

Very good with a nice view. It's just a restaurant in the heart of tourists. The food is good and the breakfast too, even if there is not so much to choose from. Can be recommended to feast, enjoy and relax.

Want to have a good and cheap Pizza at the lake? This is it. Service is nice and patient and the Pizzas are amazing for the price. Really recommend it.

Location: great, with a view of the lake from the terrace, all around the restaurant! Located directly at the port. Delicious starters and salads, the prices are adapted to the exclusive location, the quality is excellent: my photos show the sign, the interior with a view of the open kitchen, the terrace also as my sketch, the crisp Reichenau salad with poultry and the red mullet Bed of lettuce. Feel good and enjoy! There is also stone oven pizza, sweets and ice cream.

You come here for the view (which is fantastic) not for the food or service.

Great food, and acceptable prices for german tourist city.

Very nice location along the harbour promenade with a beautiful view of lake constance from the indoor as well as outdoor sitting area. Staff was very nice, friendly and courteous. The food was awesome!!! Definitely worth the slightly higher price. However, we did have to wait slightly longer than expected between our starters and the main course - this was understandable as there were many other guests and we did order more complex dishes. If you are planning on a good dinner in constance, this is the place to go!

Nice location, delicious food, but quite expensive. 4 fish fingers with a dozen fries for 10 € pretty cheeky. Unfortunately, the staff was quite overwhelmed today on the holiday. We had to wait a lot for our waitress. I would have liked it differently. But still all very nice and courteous.

Ideal place for an excursion. Right on Lake Constance, in the middle of the port facility. There is usually a lot going on here and it is not always easy to get a table. The menu is varied and has an Asian touch. On Sunday there is often live music in the summer months.

Pretty expensive, but very good food. Very large and many guests, but no too big waiting times. The staff was friendly.

Arrogant and apathetic staff. Do not give them your business. They have no empathy or humanity at this place. They served our 2 year old nephew pasta with a piece of glass in it which he nearly swallowed. The staff refused to apologise. Even the manager would not do anything to rectify the situation. They upset us all and never apologised for what happened. They basically held us hostage until we paid the bill in full. Such horrible, smug, unkind people. DO NOT EAT HERE! They should not be in business.

This restaurant could have killed or seriously injured my son and the manager didn't seem to care one bit. My 2 year old son had pasta and he found a piece of glass in his food. Luckily he didn't eat it and was fine. The waiter apologised but when the manager came over he didn't seem to care one bit that he could have killed my son, he showed no compassion or explanation, he said 'so what' when we asked him about it. Disgusting behaviour for a manager who should have been apologising. Coming here has been the worst experience of my life, I was in tears all night and can't stop thinking about how much worse it could have turned out for my son.

Just found glass in our toddlers food which he nearly swallowed and staff refuses to apologise or explain. Im sure not all staff are bad but ones that served us were short and incredibly rude, avoid!

Pleasant restaurant near the harbour. Usually a fast and helpful service, good food, wine, and beer. Can sit outside in good weather. Reasonable prices.

Great food, reasonable prices,good variety and fantastic staff. We felt very well and will definitely go back to the Hafenmeisterei.

Was nice well prepared meall and good service

Waited for 10 minutes at a table with empty glasses on it. Waiters notice us but can't be bothered to help. As soon as we leave they rush to clean up the table. Makes no sense to me.

Low grade and unenthusiastic service. Pike perch i ordered had no taste and server explained how normal it is for this fish. Shows how little they know. Turned out it was a frozen filet! High prices which are not justified at all.

Waitresses don’t know english or they don’t speak on purpose. After she said she doesn’t know english, we asked for the english menu in german . She didn’t bring the english menu and when we asked for second time, she was so rude to us and kept talking in german to get our orders. We had to leave. Not speaking english and being rude because we don’t speak german is not acceptable. It is a shame for a touristic place.
